Earths Entangled Love

The ivy grows around the castle,
its green and swirling leaves surround
the once fantastic castle,

The castle is tall
as it is wide
with gargoyles looking over the land

Is this glorious castle forsaken?
Is this glorious castle lost?
No, this glorious castle is nestled safe in the woods that she loves

The woman that has clamed this castle as her own,
is indeed an interesting woman
One that loves with her whole heart,
One that is immersed in her love and life

She is a woman of the earth,
The goddess of living things,
She loves the life that entangles her castle,
This life and love entangles her and her heart

  1. When i read this poem i saw it as that the woman was literally the earth and the vines were apart of her body. She loves the castle so much that she wraps her vines (arms) around the castle. It is safe in the woods because she is the woods. One part that confused me some what was the line "once a fantastic castle" does that mean its not pretty anymore? i really like the imagery and i can really make a picture of this castle in my head. Awesome job.
